A No-no
This sign says "no" in English and Korean. In Korean, "no" means "string" and "hearth". These multiple meanings relate to the construction of the sign itself and to the social prohibitions between the two cultures.
It was exhibited in my solo exhibition in Salt Gallery in Gwangju, Korea and in a group exhibition at the Seoul Museum of Art's Storage Gallery in Seoul, Korea.
