This work is based upon the holiday of Twelfth Night. I used the text of Shakespeare's play of the same name to create erasure poetry.
The text as well as the process of creating the text is akin to the holiday's original tradition. During this holiday, men dressed as women, masters served their servants, and people reveled in the topsy-turvy.
This was performed in the exhibition %italics%Twelfth Night%italics% at Daejeon Gallery and as an opening performance of %italics%Men Are From Marzipan%italics% at the Jung-gu Cultural Center in Daejeon, Korea.
